How to donate and FAQ's

You can have an impact on a child's life forever by setting up a regular sponsorship amount for a young person through the Friends of Mutake School. Your sponsorship will give the young person their school fees, purchase their school uniform and pay for the stationery required at school. It will also provide them with hope for the future.

You are able to choose the gender of the child you sponsor or you can leave the decision to our team, the headteacher at the school and the lead trustee are in regular contact about children who are in need of support. It only takes a few minutes to become a sponsor but could have a lifelong impact for both you and the young person.  

 

100% of your sponsorship goes to pay for the child's needs, either directly or indirectly - be it individual school uniforms, medical assistance or gardening equipment for the school vegetable plot. Not one penny will go to any overhead costs or administrative fees. All of our trustees and contacts in Zimbabwe do this on a voluntary basis and give their time and expertise freely.

If a regular donation is not something you can commit to right now, we gratefully accept any one-off gifts, grants or donations which will go towards our various projects.
