Sanitary Wear

In April 2022, two refurbished sewing machines, donated by Tools with a Mission, were sent to a school to help them make reusable sanitary pads, preventing the machines from going to landfill. After attending training, the school established an afternoon sewing club where children cut fabric and volunteer parents sew the pads, which are then distributed to the girls. During a visit by Yolanda in February 2024, she observed the positive impact of this initiative. However, the project requires a continuous supply of materials like waterproof fabric, cotton, thread, scissors, and needles to sustain its operations.
